Job Description: Part-Time Online Faculty

Position Overview:
As a part-time online faculty member, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality instruction to students in an online learning environment. You will play a crucial role in facilitating learning, engaging students, and promoting their academic success. This position requires strong subject matter expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to adapt to various online teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Instruction:
– Develop and deliver online course content using established curriculum guidelines.
– Facilitate engaging and interactive online discussions, lectures, and tutorials.
– Provide timely feedback and assessments to students on their assignments, exams, and class participation.
– Foster a supportive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages active student participation and collaboration.

2. Curriculum Development:
– Collaborate with the academic department to update and enhance online course materials.
– Create instructional resources, such as multimedia presentations, online quizzes, and discussion prompts, to enhance student learning.

3. Student Support and Engagement:
– Respond promptly to student inquiries and provide guidance and support through online communication channels.
– Monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement or intervention.
– Encourage student engagement and participation through various online platforms and tools.

4. Evaluation and Assessment:
– Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams.
– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of online instructional methods and make recommendations for improvement.
– Maintain accurate records of student grades, attendance, and other relevant data.

5. Professional Development:
– Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in online teaching and instructional technologies.
– Participate in professional development activities offered by the institution to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

– A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field is typically required (advanced degrees may be preferred).
– Previous teaching experience, preferably in an online or blended learning environment.
– Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject area being taught.
– Proficient in using online learning management systems and instructional technologies.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong organizational and time management abilities.
– Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
– Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and work schedules.


– Compensation of 6 to 20K per month(based on performance)
– Availability between 3 pm to 9 pm
– Monday to Saturday / weekdays
– Working in different roles as per training program.
